Artwork Charges

There is no charge for artwork supplied as print ready final designs as per our artwork format requirements.

We are happy to alter and/or create artwork from whatever material you may have available but there is a charge for this service. The amount charged is proportional to the time taken to do the work based on a cost of £20 per hour.

Size, Bleed & Margins

All artwork should be designed to the 'Artwork Size' as listed in the table below. Please note that this size includes bleed which is removed during manufacturing.

Many of our products have corners rounded off and edges hand finished during production, therefore it is advisable that text and logos should not be positioned within a 3mm margin of the edges or 10mm of the corners of the print area.

Due to the hand finished nature of the product and the constraints of artwork preparation; designs featuring both solid or line borders are advised against. We may be able to manufacture product featuring borders but additional consideration at both the design and production stages is required. Please contact us to discus your requirements.

Fonts

Any unusual fonts that are used should either be embedded into the image file or the font definition file supplied with the artwork.

Samples & Proofing

Product samples are available on request. However we do not supply custom made samples without a confirmed order or payment.

We will provide paper proofs of your artwork for approval prior to production of an order. Orders will not progress without confirmation of artwork approval.

On rare occasions when short lead times are demanded we may need to skip the approval process but this is entirely at the customer's risk and they must accept that the finished product's colours and/or fonts may not match their expectations.

Copyright

All image reproduction work is undertaken on the understanding that our client is either the copyright holder or has the copyright holder's consent to reproduce images and/or text.

We regard confirmation of an order and/or payment as proof of such ownership or consent and will hold you responsible for any loss that we may incur for any breach of copyright that may be subsequently discovered.
